One More Wish – A New Web Comic
If you haven’t already seen it then you may be interested to know that I launched another new web comic on Wednesday; One More Wish. This is the story of Ned, a twentysomething geek who wishes for a better life. But every wish has a price! This is a joint effort between myself and the talented Millie Henson. I’m providing the story, she’s handling the art. Check back every Wednesday for a new installment in the life of Ned!
Writing in Advance
Where possible I tend to create episodes of Baby001 several days in advance and upload them to the server to be ‘published’ automatically on the correct day. This was especially true over Christmas as I really didn’t want to take time out from the celebrations to update the comic.
This does pose a problem though as the vast majority of Baby001 episodes are based on real events, so as a result most episodes are about things that happened a week or so previously. This means that Christmas-related material won’t be out until the new year, which is a slight hitch. Still, I don’t think anyone was avidly refreshing the web comic on Christmas morning waiting for new festive material, so it’s not the end of the world.
Speaking of web comics, I have a new one on the way in the new year, so watch this space for more information soon.
Whoops!
Whoops! It’s been a few months since I updated my writing blog. Having a new baby can distract you like that. 😉 Rest assured I’ve been busy writing though; Baby001 is now on its 61st episode.
In contrast Surreal Science is currently on hiatus due to conflicts in the artist’s schedule, but we hope to bring you more in the new year if possible.
Baby001 – A New Web Comic
This is my latest project, Baby001, a web comic about pregnancy, babies and impending fatherhood. Essentially it’s a way to vent all my baby-related humour without annoying my wife. New episodes will be posted every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, so please remember to check back regularly! 🙂
